Ozone Remediation uses the power of ozone (O3) which is a form of supercharged form of oxygen that’s as intense as it is effective. The end result is to banish stubborn smells and bacteria from your car’s interior.
So, where's the magic? A specialised ozone machine releases ozone gas inside your car, truck, or bus cabin (and hey, we can even treat certain rooms in your house!). This gas circulates, targeting and neutralising all the pollutants it touches: bacteria, viruses, mould, mildew, and foul odours, all wiped out at the molecular level.

How Do Ozone Treatments Work?
At Two Step Detailing, we bring out the big guns when it comes to stubborn car odours—say hello to ozone! Ozone is an incredibly powerful oxidiser, ready to neutralise all those volatile organic compounds (VOCs) responsible for those less-than-pleasant smells.
Our No-Nonsense Approach to Ozone Treatment
We start every Ozone Remediation process with a careful assessment, followed by an initial ozone treatment in line with industry standards. Your vehicle is typically with us for under an hour, and most times, one treatment does the trick. If we spot any signs that further steps might be needed (like a wet extraction, steam injection, or even seat removal), we’ll discuss everything with you at drop-off.
How the Magic Happens
Once your car’s in our shop, our commercial-grade Ozone Generator takes the back seat (literally). Plugged into the power socket, it goes to work, releasing ozone gas into the cabin while your car runs with the air conditioning on. Over the next 30 to 60 minutes, ozone circulates through your cabin, using your car’s under-dash fan to reach every corner through the cabin filter. When the treatment’s done, we open up all the windows to let any O3 remnants escape, finishing off with a replacement of a fresh new cabin filter.
